Lenten Studies
We are extending an invitation to participate among ourselves in a Zoom Lenten Study and Reflection.
The Episcopal Church is offering daily Lenten Meditations, beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 18. These meditations are authored by Sister Monica Clare, an Episcopal nun and Superior of the Community of St. John Baptist in Mendham, New Jersey. She is soon to be an ordained priest.
Here is the link for the resources:
https://www.episcopalrelief.org/church-in-action/lent/
Once you get to this page, you can choose one and/or several options:
1. Subscribe: to receive the daily emails
2. Read: to read the meditations on the website itself
3. Resources: to download all of the meditations to your computer
There is a fourth button --Pray-- which links you to Lenten Prayers you may choose to pray.
I will send a weekly Zoom link to you where we will meet to share our reflections on the readings.
We will meet on Monday mornings at 9:00 am on February 16 (before Ash Wednesday to get you familiar with the website options and to offer some reflective prompts), February 23, and March 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.
